The litt pleasures......

Isnt she a doll!

Sometime early last year I wrote this post on my cousin who was expecting her baby soon. What I dint mention then was that she was the first(and to date - the only) cousin\sibling of my age circle(as against your elder cousins) to become a mother.

So yesterday when I first had a glimpse of her daughter, almost a year after she was born - my heart literally went out to the little imp! Tht naughty glint in her eyes will have you gush with warmth n love. What I wanted  to really give her was a big-tight hug! But the danger of having her scream murder, ensured that all all of us followed her mandate of "Keep distance - Min 10 ft" v meekly! Love u sweetheart, muah! Cant wait to see you again.......

This along with the fact that my maid who was AWOL for more than 10 days has finally shown up today and the promise of some retail therapy with ma sis post lunch today, promises to make this a happppie weekend!

Howwzzaat for a freebie gyan! Thou the sherlock-Holmey me does wonder what should be the depth if the seed is like oval in shape???

N na before u wonder if I hv taken to gardening.. well well you couldnt hv been wronger!I got this piece of gyaan courtesy Mr. Anand of Basic Halli! Weekends!

A quick hop-n-stop visit to cheenai, Eating Out(Emu meat anybody), site seeing(even thou the scorching sun makes u curse urself for coming up with the damn idea!) n the best of all to discover the story teller in your FIL ~~ To see him literally do a ROFL as he entertained us with stories from his youth ~~ Priceless Memory!

BTW Does cooking up delicacies for u qualify under 'Pampering' (Me the Foodie ofcourse!)... Well well it does for me esp when the 85 year old grandma of hubbs wakes up at an unearthly hour jus to ensure that ypou don miss packing it up((even thou the practical-me says the reason behind the delicacy was to ensure no food is wasted)

N before I forget the magic of long drives ~~ the drive between banglooru n chennai is about 4 -5 hrs... Jus long enuf without sapping u out ~~ By end of the drive u r relaxed n somehow all problems in world seem surmountable!

....Haa how how  could I not post this??? Well betta late than never rt....

Pic courtesy hubbs ofcourse (Well he did turn out to be rt huh!) .... He jus couldnt resist from clicking it as soon as it splashed on the TV screen.... Something to preserve for the future rt :-D. Well its not always that a so-much-craved-for fruit isnt snatched away right from under our nose rt :)

Haa nothing jus about nothing could make the weekend(A long one at tht!)  more picture perfect.....ofcourse the prospect of a houseful ~~ Ma mom, sis, ma niece.... few weekends from now is jus the topping on the cake rt!
